I have come across a few of these recently, I love them all, painstakingly handworked but I wrestled with what we'd use them for today. Was struck by ingenious idea - bread proving covers. So many of us make our own bread - sourdough takes a lifetime. These handy covers fit our banneton basket perfectly!
