My Mum had one of these but it was in a more subdued green. This is a lovely deep pillar box red, it looks a little orangey in the pictures but you can take it from me it isn't.
Jacksons of Piccadilly was a leading tea house with premises at 171-179 Piccadilly for many years. They were unusual in their day in that they sold ready blended tea when most people blended their own at home.
A lovely thing and not a common find in this colour. Vintage condition but no dings or major detractions. Lovely art deco banding top and bottom.
