Art Deco birds vase with unusual bird handle and his or her mate peering up from the base. In fantastic condition given it's age and potential for damage. No chips or cracks.
I suspect it was a pride and joy and rarely moved about the place, it was a lot duller and greyer before I cleaned it up. Back to it's brightest now. Cuties aren't they?
Made by Paramount Pottery Company, which I thought I had never heard of until I did some research and then realised it was an older name for Keele Street potteries based in Hanley.
