Spode Velamour art deco jug. Stamped K393, then a T and 18. It is is divine and unique, a very small piece of the bone china has got stuck when trimmed just by the handle it was then glazed so it is there for the duration. You feel it more than see it. Does not bother me, shows it was hand~made.
Spode Velamour is my new muse, I have had this sitting quietly on the shelf so that I could enjoy it a while. Cool creamy satin glaze, the handle of dreams and classic banding around the middle. Just blissful either empty; or filled with flowers.
