Vintage wedding or engagement presents are so much more thoughtful and personal than every day mass produced gifts. It shows you have researched and found something you think the happy couple will love from the past. I've said it before but I will say it again, I would rather not have an 'it will do' gift. Not for me thanks.
A pair of etched Pall Mall champagne glasses. Hard to date glass when unmarked but I think 1950s and from Bohemia. Really pretty delicate little charmers they are. The designs cast such beautiful shadows. Buy a bottle of something unusual on the fizzy front to go with them and there you go - one memorable gift.
